Assistant Digital Media Planner
We’re looking for an Assistant Digital Media Planner who is naturally curious, organized, has strong data analysis skills, and a passion for understanding the ever-changing technology landscape.
The Assistant Digital Media Planner will work closely with a supervisor to develop, execute, and manage strategic media plans on behalf of our clients and partner agencies. Assistant Digital Media Planners work across all major online platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, StackAdapt, LinkedIn, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, etc.). They work with the media sales community, along with creative agencies to develop unique and strategically appropriate media approaches. This includes exploring new search, data, and creative technologies that utilize emerging technologies pertinent to our client’s objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attending and participating in internal status meetings.
- Conducting media planning research – audience analysis, competitive analysis, performance analysis.
- Meeting with sales reps, seeking out innovative new advertising opportunities.
- Developing online media plans and writing POVs.
- Daily monitoring and analyzing the data of campaigns in order to make informed optimization decisions.
- Serving as an SME (subject matter expert) for one of our core tools by keeping up-to-date on emerging tools and trends.
- Training your peers, updating them on platform changes, and sharing tips and tricks to maximize campaign performance.
- Trafficking campaigns in the platform.
- Managing media contracts, budgets, and resolving media invoice discrepancies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Digital media experience.
- Familiarity or experience working with any of these research and planning tools: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Simmons.
- Strong analytical background demonstrating an ability to understand business problems, analyze trends, draw conclusions and make actionable recommendations.
- Self-starter who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work well under pressure.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
